DOTGO NEWS · SAUDI BUSINESS
Saudi technology-services company solutions recorded about SAR9.64 billion in revenue for the first nine months of 2026, up 9.2% from a year earlier. Net profit rose more slowly, by about 1.4% to SAR1.24 billion, according to results reported on 26 October by Jawlah and Mubasher.
WHY THIS MATTERS · DOTGO ANALYSIS
For founders selling technology services, a growing sales line is only one part of the picture. The difference between revenue growth and profit growth makes delivery costs and the mix of work worth examining alongside new contracts.
Revenue grows as quarterly profit holds steady
The reporting covers Arabian Internet and Communications Services Company, branded solutions by stc, for the period ending 30 September. Third-quarter revenue reached about SAR3.39 billion, while net profit of SAR417 million was unchanged from a year earlier.
Both reports describe third-quarter growth of 20% in core communications and information-technology services and 4.9% in digital services. They also identify early-retirement programme expenses as a factor affecting quarterly profitability.
The figures describe one company's performance. They do not establish a growth rate for every Saudi technology provider.
The DotGO perspective
ANALYSIS
A services business can win more work while taking on a delivery burden that is harder to see in a sales dashboard. Founders can make that burden visible by reviewing projects at completion: compare the hours and external costs in the proposal with what the team actually used.
The useful question is whether a particular type of contract becomes easier to deliver as the business gains experience. Reusable implementation work, clear customer responsibilities and disciplined change requests can make that assessment more concrete. A larger contract should still have an identifiable path to an acceptable margin.
Buyers can use a similar lens when selecting a technology partner. Ask how implementation, support and later changes are priced, and who owns each handover. A low initial quote is less useful if the scope leaves essential work unresolved.
What to watch next
DotGO analysis: Future disclosures on service mix, delivery expenses and recurring versus exceptional costs will help explain how revenue growth translates into earnings. Investors should separate a temporary expense from a lasting change in the cost of serving customers.
